200 Volunteer Hours Put in Sept. 12-13

Over 200 hours of volunteer time was expended this past weekend on the Playground. According to Playground Chairperson Cheryl Cutlip, much was accomplished by the hard-working volunteers: 30 yards of mulch was spread, Ron Cutlip and Britt Medley have placed huge rocks throughout the landscaping, Lloyd Buckner performed weed-eating magic, Billy Chick loaded lots of gravel, The Mustard Seed (owned by parents Danielle & Robb Stewart) delivered mulch and shrubbery, Melinda Latendresse organized the delivery of 10 yards of mulch and the Powell and Cheves families showed up to lend a helping hand. Thank you to the Mustard Seed for the donation of 10 yards of mulch and 50 blue junipers and to Lowes for the donation of 30’ of fencing and 92 junipers. Volunteers are needed this coming Saturday, September 19 to distribute mulch above the retaining walls.
