FEATURED DONOR

High Country Food Hub

We are so excited to announce that the High Country Food Hub will be assisting with Blowing Rock Cares Thanksgiving Dinner Project. They will be donating 25 Turkeys as well as fresh sweet potatoes, red potatoes, carrots, salad mix and apples. These items will be added to BRC’s Thanksgiving Dinner Project that will also include a ham or turkey, stuffing, corn, green beans, cranberries, rolls, plus a pie. These dinners are given to our clients as well as to families with food insecurities from the Blowing Rock School.

This donation from High Country Food Hub is part of a program with Grow Watauga who is funding the Thanksgiving Food Box Program. Grow Watauga is generously matching all customer donations for this program from now until November 11th. When customers order on the High Country Food Hub website, they can add a donation to their shopping cart and it will be matched and added to this program. All donations go toward purchasing food for the Thanksgiving project. If you would like to assist with this project, you can go to the following webpage: https://www.highcountryfoodhub.org/no-hunger-for-the-holidays.html or you can Donate to Blowing Rock Cares and note that it is for the Holiday Dinner Project.
