Pantry Operations
Our food pantry operates every Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Additionally, we provide food delivery services to families with special needs. Clients are welcome to visit weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. The pantry is located at the rear entrance of Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1218 Main Street, Blowing Rock, North Carolina. We may occasionally be closed due to inclement weather or holidays.
We have recently renovated our food pantry and now offer two options for those picking up food. Clients can either choose a pre-packed box of food or work with a Personal Shopper to select items that best suit their needs from our stocked shelves, refrigerators, and freezers. Our staff is available to assist with all selections and load the items into the client’s vehicle.

Blowing Rock Cares Food Pantry offers food delivery services. Please contact us in person or at 828-532-3323 to see if you qualify for our delivery program.
School Snack Program
We are proud to provide healthy snacks for all Watauga County Public Schools students. These snacks are delivered to the schools and distributed by social workers as needed.
Holiday Meals Program
In addition to our weekly Food Pantry, we provide complete Holiday Meals for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter by request.

What types of donations do you accept?
We accept donations of non-perishable food items, household care items, monetary donations, and grants. You can donate online with our Donation Page.
Donations of non-perishable food and household care items can be brought to the back of Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church on Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm.
