Wayne Holliday

Treasurer

After serving in the US Army from 1968 to 1971, I attended Western Carolina University and graduated with a degree in Accounting. I worked for 35 years in a variety of areas including consumer products, agri-business, specialty steel, oil & gas, nuclear energy, and state government. Primarily involved many years with internal auditing, I also worked in cost control functions, budgeting, and business planning. Upon retiring in 2009, my wife Kathryn and I joined Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church. Here I have served as member and Chair of the Properties Committee, past Chair and current member of the Finance Committee, served as a Session member, and contributed to many other volunteer functions. For several years I assisted the Blowing Rock Cares Food Pantry by packing food boxes for distribution to clients. When oversight of the Pantry was undertaken as a Mission of Rumple, I volunteered to serve as a member of the initial Board as well as the Treasurer and continue serving today. I also continue to provide periodic client check in and food deliveries when needed.
